1. L-Glutathione เป็นโปรตีนทีประกอบด้วย กรดอะมิโน 3 ชนิด คือ L-glutamic acid, L-cysteine และ glycine ช่วยทำให้ผิวขาวขึ้น โดยยับยั้งเอมไซม์ tyrosinase จึงทำให้เกิดเม็ดสี phaeomelanin (yellowish white pigment) แทนที่จะเกิด เม็ดสี eumelanin (dark brown pigment) ซึ่งเป็นจุดด่างดำ
